How We Use Document Data
When you upload documents, images, or PDFs to our OCR service, we process this data to:
- Extract text using our OCR technology
- Provide you with editable versions of the extracted text
- Improve our OCR algorithms and service accuracy
Storage of Document Data
By default, we store uploaded documents and extracted text temporarily to provide our service. Documents are automatically deleted after 30 days unless you choose to save them in your account. Premium users can adjust retention settings in their account preferences.
Your Control Over Document Data
You can delete your uploaded documents and extracted text at any time through your account dashboard. Once deleted, this data is removed from our active systems but may remain in our backup systems for up to 30 days before being permanently deleted.
